Kevin Arbouet, formally of Lee Daniels Entertainment (Monster's Ball, Precious, The Butler), is living the dream. Having produced and directed several independent films over the years, his newest, Generation Iron, on which he acted as production manager and second unit director, will be released in theaters on September 20th. Generation Iron is about the lives of seven bodybuilders as they train for the Mr. Olympia competition. Arnold Schwarzenegger appears, and the documentary is narrated by Mickey Rourke. Generation Iron will be released directly preceding Mr. Olympia, which Mr. Arbouet will also be directing.
While venturing on with these newest projects, Kevin's latest indie film, Police State, which filmed partially in Nassau County at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building, stars Neal Bledsoe, Chris Riggi and Sean Young, is now in post production.
